THE FLICKR INTEGRATED WEBSITE!
A few years ago, I was looking for a way to easily update my website with new photos. I tried a number of solutions, but usually ended having to repeat a fairly manual process week after week. Then, in 2006, I discovered Flickr.com! Flickr was sooo easy to use and made sharing photos with friends and family a snap.
Last year, we wondered how hard it would be to come up with a simple re-usable website that would let photographers easily tag photos in Flickr that would show up in their personal websites. After some playing around with code, Ataricharm came up a simple web site code set that could do just this! To see some examples, look here:
ataricharm.com (old version)
It's a simple approach really. We wrote code for a simple website that automatically pulls photos from your Flickr photostream based on unique tags that you assign to your photos. The website itself can be customized through manipulation of the CSS. This allows you to have a professionally branded website without having to upload your photos to a location other than Flickr.
